Master the Art of the Return
About Amazon & Our Dominant Culture
Amazon doesn't just dominate outbound shipping; we have revolutionized the returns process. Our Customer Returns (C-Rets) facilities represent the massive, complex world of reverse supply chain logistics. We are deeply committed to sustainability, refurbishing, and recovering value from returned goods. If you possess an incredible eye for detail and want Amazon jobs that focus on quality inspection rather than heavy lifting, the Reverse Logistics team is your perfect warehouse associate destination.
What Our Associates Say: Real Employee Reviews
The returns department is highly sought after for its focus on evaluation. A current associate shared on Glassdoor: "Processing returns is fascinating. You get to open the packages, inspect the electronics or apparel, and determine its fate using Amazon's software. It’s much less physically taxing than the outbound dock, but it requires serious brainpower and attention to detail. Plus, the healthcare and 401(k) benefits make these logistics careers incredibly secure."

- Repackaging & Routing: Carefully repackage items deemed "Customer Returns - Sellable" and apply new ASIN barcodes so they can be seamlessly reintegrated into active inventory.
